Today was slow, slow, slow. We're giving away t-shirts at the gymnastics meets on Friday so I had to go find out how many of those t-shirts we had left. We had just enough to give out to the first 75 students which is what the flyers said was going to happen. After I finished with those t-shirts, I had to roll the t-shirts we throw out to fans at baseball games. Not hard, but extremely boring.
After I did all that I went over to the baseball stadium to help get everything set up. We set up the marketing table and the laptop that has all the music on it. After we finished setting up, I talked with Michael about the sports industry and he told me everything he had done in his career so far so that was pretty cool. He also said he plans to start having me run the music and make sure all the other marketing stuff goes off when it is supposed to at some of the future events. That is normally done by one of the full-time staff members so that must mean I'm doing pretty good if they feel like I'm ready for that. I'm not sure if I want to stay in marketing, but if I do that will definitely be good experience to have.
I'm supposed to work with Andrew Schuster next week and develop a script for an upcoming softball game and that will also be good experience to have. I definitely have the least experience out of all the interns, but I think I'm making a good impression. Megan actually asked if I was going to apply for the full-time internship when it comes open in the next month or so. I told her I wasn't sure, but I would definitely think about it.
