Today way awesome! There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that the casual fans don't know about and it is great to be in charge of that. I did so much stuff today that I can't even remember it all off the top of my head. I have a list of tasks I was given that I plan to post in the projects section, but I don't have access to a scanner right now. It really is amazing how much we have to do to make sure everything goes off without a hitch.
One of the first things I had to do today was to find two people to accept our seat upgrade. As part of this, the couple has to be on the video board with our mascot and wave and cheer and do all that. The most amazing thing about this was that the first couple I approached didn't want to have their seats upgraded. I couldn't believe it since I was offering them 4th row seats and they were sitting in the nose bleeds. I was warned I may get turned down a couple times, but it definitely still took me by surprise. Luckily, the next couple I offered happily accepted and was more than willing to move down and be featured on the video board.
I was also put in charge of our attempt a 3-pointer to win a vacation. I had to find a fan willing to shoot and then make sure he was in the right place at the right time. It wasn't hard, but when everything has to be at exactly the right time, there is definitely a little pressure. The good news is that he made the first 3 he attempted and has a chance to win a vacation at the end of the season.
There is a lot of other stuff I did, but I'm so burnt out right now that I can't even remember all the details. When I post the task list in the projects section, I'll probably give a little more detail on what I had to do.
By the way, the Tigers won 72-60!
