Apparently what I wrote on Friday was wrong as we were able to do some promotions today. We did what we normally do during wrestling meets and that is the pin to win drawing as well as the intermission program.
I was basically in charge of the intermission program again. It seems that I'm quite good at so every wrestling meet I've worked lately I've been put in charge of that. They know I can make sure it runs without any issues so it makes me feel pretty good.
Today was also senior day which one of the full-time staff members was supposed to take care of, but he was running late so it was up to me to make sure everything was good. I had to get all the wrestlers and their families lined up and make sure everybody was accounted for. It was no big deal and it just shows them that I can do what is necessary. I really do like doing all this behind the scenes stuff because I don't think most fans know all what is necessary to make sure everything goes smoothly.
To top it all off, the Tigers beat American University 34-3. The team will now head to Iowa City from February 21-22 to participate in the National Duals Finals.
