I'll get the bad news out of the way first. The Tigers played hard, but still couldn't find a way to beat the Bulldogs. Mizzou lost 77-74 and I think the losing streak is now up to 11 games. I could be wrong about that exact number of games, but it's a very large number. It's been rough to watch at times, but hopefully they pull one out soon.
As for what I did today, it was essentially the same stuff we always do at home games, but it was left up to the interns (for the most part) to make sure it was done. They wanted to see how well we could run the show and I think we did pretty well.
There was a promotions sheet for us like there always is, but normally the full-time staff members tell us when to go do the stuff on the list. Not today. We had to make sure it was done when it needed to be done. It was pretty cool be trusted like that for an event like this. Michael actually said they tried it the last home game and it didn't work out so well so he wanted to see if we could do better. I didn't ask him at the end of the game how we did, but around half-time he said we were doing a great job. It's awesome to know that we are trusted like that to make sure everything runs smoothly.
