Today started out incredibly slow. Megan wasn't in her office at first and she didn't leave me a note asking me to do something. I finally found John and asked him if he had anything for me to do but he didn't. I know when I started they said there may be days where you don't have anything to do, but I honestly didn't think it would be this many. It seems that nearly every time I'm in the office there is nothing to do other than the baseball promotions list.
When Megan finally got back to her office, I finally had some work to do. First, I had to prepare a couple unofficial visitor pass lists for the women's basketball game on Sunday. This form states that the visitors have not received any compensation or benefit for the admission to the game.
After that I had to create an excel spreadsheet for the videos we use during women's basketball games. Megan had them on a word document that wasn't the best way to do it. I created a spreadsheet that can now be sorted by number, name, and all the different videos. It shows us which players have already been featured and which ones need to be featured.
Next, I prepared flyers for a tennis match. These flyers are to get the word out there that one of the upcoming tennis matches is free. As it is probably easy to imagine, tennis is the biggest drawer of fans. We're hoping that by making admission free for that match that more people will come and support the team not only for that game but in the future as well.
Finally, I prepared tons of t-shirts for our promotion during men's basketball games. One of the things we do during men's basketball games is drop t-shirt parachutes down from the rafter during the game and I had to get those ready. Really easy to do, but quite time consuming because there were a lot of t-shirts.
