Today was a bit different than the past two days. We still had the same promotions for the most part, we just switched up when they were done and which people took care of them.
I still helped with taking care of the first pitch, and the marketing table, but we actually had a person sing the National Anthem today so I helped with that as well. It was not difficult at all since the lady had done it before and basically knew everything she needed to do (including where to go).
The other marketing intern and I had to do the seat upgrade promotion as well. It's very similar to what is done at men's basketball games where we pick two fans from the upper section to move down into the lower section. The seats for baseball are right behind home plate so they're pretty great. All we had to do was pick them, take them to their new seats, and when it came time for them to be recognized have them stand up and wave.
I also helped with the quarter minute to win it promotion again and this time it was ice cream flavors. Our contestant didn't win, but he still received a free t-shirt out of it so I don't think he cared too much. After I did that I actually left the game because I had to go pick up signs that were used to tell people there was a baseball series this weekend. They were basically little miniature billboards.
I did finish listening to the game while I was doing that and the Tigers couldn't finish off the sweep. The Gamecocks won 7-5.
